Hayabusa offers a range of martial arts classes, including MMA, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, women’s kickboxing, judo and kids’ kung fu. Students can begin training as young as age four and the classes run throughout the calendar year. Boxing, wrestling and private training classes are also available at this school, which offers competitive and non-competitive participation.

Abundant Peace Aikido And Tai Chi School

Sung Lee Tae Kwon Do

Sung Lee Tae Kwon Do has seven do-jangs in addition to the St. Albert location. Classes are taught based on experience, not age, so children and parents may attend classes together or adults can opt for adult-only classes. With three tournaments a year, all students with belts are encouraged to participate in them.

Paladin Taekwon-Do

A member of the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF), the Paladin school’s motto is “Family, Fitness and Fun.” Opened in 2006 by a married couple, the school has since grown to include a number of locations as enrollment increases. Students can begin classes at the age of five but four-year-olds may also be considered.

Phoenix Taekwon-Do

With seven locations, in addition to its St. Albert school, Phoenix Taekwon-Do offers Taekwon-Do classes, as well as fitness classes: Bootcamp and Strike2Sweat Boxing. Regular members can train as many times during the week as they like. The school also accepts bookings for a unique ninja birthday party, which includes a martial arts lesson, party space and gifts.
