Disaster Waiting To Happen
I booked "On Da Move" for a simple storage space move, which would have taken just over an hour. They offered me a reasonable flat rate and agreed to take a post-dated cheque for a day. After waiting all morning, the driver said in the afternoon, "How about tomorrow?" with no apologies. I bit my tongue and said okay. The following day at 8:00 a.m., I spoke to "Lloyd" for confirmation. By 2:00 p.m., they were not here, I tried calling them several times without success, and they did not call at all. At 2:15, "Lloyd" finally answered and told me, "You have no money." I told him, "YOU set the price, YOU agreed to take a post-dated cheque, if you do not agree to your own terms, don't offer them, and CALL." They let me down twice in less than 24 hours. On Da Move, yes, on a fast downward spiral. Irresponsibility at its finest.
