September Surf Café welcomes you to their establishment. They are open nightly from Monday to Friday. You can get there by public transit and bicycle. They are situated in a neighborhood filled with parks, restaurants, coffee shops and merchants.
There are some coffee shops in Montreal that naturally stand out, winning hearts and earning instant success. Such is the case with September Surf Cafe, a unique place that grew out of owner Mitch Martin's love for two seemingly unconnected passions: coffee and surfing.
Mitch had already owned a surfboard workshop, but he loved coffee for its ability to bring people together. So he mulled over adding a café to his workshop and in March 2016, he opened the September Surf Cafe. "I wanted to create a place where people could get together," he says. The name of the café reflects the hurricane season, when surfers migrate south to practise their favourite sport.
