Passing through today with my wife and daughter, hungry so we stopped in. Service was prompt, and actually involved 3 people! I had the pickerel platter (had to prevent myself from saying "It's actually called walleye!"), wife had poutine, and daughter had the soup of the day, hamburger vegetable, and chicken burger. All agreed that it was good. Decor was interesting, and washrooms were very clean. Jake's is currently up for sale; it will be interesting to see what happens here, as the place seems to be a bit of an institution, having been run by the same ownership since 1969.

We hired Castle to do all of our heating, cooling and plumbing work for our new home a few years back. Since then, we also have had Castle technicians provide service inspections on these systems and complete regular maintenance as needed. I had the pleasure of purchasing a full King size bed set and a new mattress from a employee named Vicky. She was extremely friendly and gave us the information that we needed. What I really liked was that she did not crowd us too much either. She asked what we were looking for, showed us where everything was, and let us browse. Kept an eye on us in case we looked lost, and made sure to quickly return to help us choose a great mattress to fit our comfort. Thank you again Vicky for helping us!

Wonderful experience at the auto repair on Dec 12, 2024, was passing through from out of town, had an electrical glitch in new 2024 Chevy Suburban tire sensor. They got me in earlier than I expected (given my predicament perhaps?), regardless, got me in 1 and 1/2 hr early, and, on the road again in 1/2 hr. Faulty tire pressure sensor! Great Work guys, human compassion exists!!
