Cheap and Delicious food, it is easy to miss until you have been there, the place may be a little difficult to find but you can get a great meal and could expect to pay anywhere between $9 to about ~$17, a great deal for the food you are getting. Not only is it delicious but it is also filling. The owner is extremely friendly and you get your meals quick.
The atmosphere is great and is definitely welcoming, and the closest I could find to a problem (which is definitely much closer to being a nitpick) is that if you are both vegetarian and gluten free you are out of luck (however if you are one of those things, there is something for you).
Better than most ethnic places I have been to in Ottawa, and once you find it once it is much more accessible than the comparable restaurants that often are in the centre of town. I look forward to my next experience there.
EDIT: Also it is designed to be a dinner place and the meals feel that way, if you have a choice of going there for either dinner or lunch I would recommend going there for dinner, although I here they are fairly busy around dinner time.

Firstly, know that you're paying for the food, not the atmosphere. Perfect for what I was seeking that night, but probably not a place to take a first date.
Second NOT VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY. At least as of Feb. 9th 2008, all of the items had meat.
The rice (and sauce) was divine; the chicken was done well; I was less impressed with the xaniid though, it might have just been that night as they are supposedly known for it. It was decent, but not great.
Highly recommended for take-out / student-chow, decent for eat-in.

Très bon restaurant africain avec des plats typiques. Délicieux jus de fruits et de gingembre à essayer absolument (en carafe). Le service est parfois un peu lent mais le personnel est serviable souriant et sympathique.
