Dr. Julie Thurston ND has been serving the Barrie and Orillia area for over 14 years. She is a registered Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine in Ontario and has completed additional licencing requirements which enables her to prescribe regulated substances that are available to Ontario Naturopaths such as bio-identical hormones and thyroid replacement.
Dr. Julie ND offers her patients therapies (nutritional interventions, homeopathy, acupuncture, botanical medicine, bio-identical hormone replacement) that address the underlying causes of their health concerns. Although, she maintains a general naturopathic practice, she has developed strong clinical experience with women’s health, anti-aging and preventative care for active older adults. Digestive, hormonal and mental/emotional concerns are issues that Dr. Julie ND sees daily in her practice.
