Almaguin Veterinary Service is owned and operated by Dr Ronald S Smith BSc., D.V.M. He has been a practicing veterinarian for over 34 years now. He was a partner in a Veterinarian Clinic in the Southern Ontario. He then went out west, to teaching at a community college in Fairview Alberta.Then he came back to Ontario and bought the Veterinary Clinic in Sundridge On, he has owned and operated the clinic for the past 12 years. There is 24 hour emergency service; Dr Smith rotates emergency service with 2 other veterinary clinics in the area. Dr Smith has lots of experience and his passion is medicine and caring for animals. He is constantly taking courses and increasing his education, so he is up to date on all the latest and new technology. Dr Smith is very personable and explains diagnosis and issues to his clients owners so it is easy to understand what is happening. Dr Smith has Registered Vet Technicians that work with him in his clinic. He performs all your wellness and minor surgery at the clinic, if he feels that it is something that needs to be dealt with at another clinic he does not hesitate to refer you and your best friend. They carry number of products for your cats and dogs, if there is something they dont have, they will order it in for you.
