Originally from Chicoutimi, her roots are strong and well anchored in the rich soil of his native region, the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. It is from there that she delivers a very personal work of creation. Self-taught painter, the mix between the various techniques has particularly seduced her. She extracts the best of materials and pigments, not hesitating to use different application tools to push her approach further. For more than thirty-five years, Martine Tremblay has participated in several group exhibitions and numerous symposiums, where she has received numerous mentions and awards. In 2008 two of her works were selected by the Société National des Beaux Arts de France for the exhibition at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, she was part of the delegation of Canadian artists. She will exhibit again in France in the Alpes Maritimes in 2012. In 2015, Italy was the host of her performances. Her work can be found in various galleries.
