Best long term residential treatment program in Thunder Bay. The food is good, the workers are awesome, the location is great (near the woods), they even have a wood shop. It was essential to my own recovery which is just creeping towards 2 years of sobriety. I like the place so much that I almost would relapse just to go back!

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit one of 36 Public Health Units operating in the Province of Ontario, Canada. We are a non-profit agency funded jointly by the provincial government and the municipalities we serve. The Health Unit is governed by a Board of Health which is comprised of twelve municipal representatives and three provincial appointees.
The Castle Green Community Centre is a GREAT place to hold any event (Weddings, Shags, Birthday parties, Large family dinners, Indoor yard sale, etc) at every affordable cost!
We also have a small meeting room “SUNSET ROOM” set up with a table and chairs to seat up to 10 people. It is great for any type of meeting, or even a family dinner. When you rent the Hall or Sunset Room. You have full access and use of the entire kitchen complete with a large fridge, microwave, 2 stoves, dishwasher, coffee urns, hot chafing dishes, utensils,dishes, etc.
You also have access to our stereo system, podium, projector screen, microphone (upon request), tables and chairs (you must supply your own table cloths), 86 upholstered chairs available, (51 wooden chairs available upon request), 18 Round tables and 5 long rectangle tables (more rectangle tables upon request).
