He founded Fuxing Greenhouses in 1973, and was the one who put in place all operational and technical standards for Orchid Greens. Starting out as a hobbyist back in the early 1940s at the age of 16, Hong Cong Yuen went on to develop new methods in creating various new Orchid specimens.
