So my friend Dave says, I'm taking you to have the World's Best Beef Dip. I say " what?" here in Grande Prairie? He says YA.
So we go last night and order the Beef Dip at the Crown & Anchor Pub. I get a plate with half a french loaf, TEAMING with shaved beef and a large bowl of au jus. Fries... Gravy. Heaven.
I had done a half hour run before dinner so was very hungry to say the least. This totally knocked my socks off.
If you are in Grande Prairie and haven't tried it. Go for it!

The best meal experience i have had in a long time! Great relaxing atmospher. Very clean. Great service. Authentic mediterranean food huge portions. One disapointment cheese cake was their main deserts noth mediterranean Buklava or anything. :-( but a sure thing for a great meal.

The Anvil is awesome. The food is good, the portions large and the staff super friendly. If you're in from out of town it's your main option for dinner so give it a try.

The lunch menu was exceptional. The home made sandwich that I ordered was second to non around Prince George. This business is well run with a very friendly atmosphere.
Improvement needed:
When I ate there it seemed busy and service could have been a little bit speedier. Business owner may need to create a more effcient process for preparing food.
