WorkBC Ucluelet provides free assistance and support for job seekers and employers in Ucluelet and surrounding communities. Our location is just off the main road as you drive into the centre of town, in the building with the big red roof at the corner of Peninsula and Bay Streets. In our self-serve resource area you can update your resume, apply for jobs online, or use our printer, photocopier or fax machine. There are also available job search and job start supports for eligible unemployed clients who need help looking for work or to get started in a new job. The Tseshaht people live on the west Coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, one of the 14 Nations that make up the Nuu chah nulth Tribal Council. Tseshaht is pronounced as see-sha-ought. Tseshaht translates as the people of, This word uses the Nuu-chah-nulth font. while Nuu chah nulth means all along the mountains and sea and is descriptive of a people living along the mountains that face the Pacific Ocean. Today, the Tseshaht remain in the Alberni Valley and still hold their traditional territories in Barkley Sound and the Alberni Valley .
