Once upon a time — 25 years ago to be exact — a young P.E.I native picked up a butcher knife and never turned back. Now it has been some time since that young man started his long career in the butcher industry, but his values still rang true: unprocessed, hormone-free, properly aged meats, while still being easy on the pocket book. This man's name is Cornelis (Cory) Lamers. Cory had a vision of the butchers of old, and keeping to the traditions in use 40 years ago such as hang drying meat for 28-30+ days to ensure quality and tenderness. Local was key as well. Keeping 95% of the store a 120-mile radius of the selected location and providing fresh options for today’s family. Alongside Cory stands his wife Sheryl. Together, they set to make this dream a reality, opening a shop in Woodstock with local products, gluten free options, low sodium, reliable services and affordable pricing for families young and old.

At JTK Meats we offer custom cuts of local and Canadian meat to walk in customers as well as self serve freezers. We also have large order options for those who are looking at packages. We differ from other meat retailers because we only offer local and Canadian meats. We offer only 100% Canadian beef that has been aged a minimum of 21 days. We only use AAA graded or higher. Raised on a corn and grain diet antibiotic free. All of our steaks are delivered fresh to you, never frozen.

We are a brand new Equestrian Facility that specializes in Western and English Horseback Riding Lessons. We offer both Indoor and Outdoor Board and the Horses are always our number one priority. With many years of agricultural experience- we grow our own hay, have it tested to ensure that your horses are getting the most out of their nutrition. Our ranch is our home and we strive to make everyone feel comfortable. We want you to come, relax, enjoy and unwind from the stress of the work day.

DiPietro fresh meat & delicatessen was started back in March 1982 in Brantford, Ontario. From there we decided to expand our business and move to Cambridge.
