The founders of Westeck Windows started operations in 1991 as Cascade Windows, but all assets of this company were sold, and its employees transferred to the Willmar Windows/JELD WEN Corporation in early 1997. When the JELD WEN Corporation closed its production facilities in BC, at the end of 1999, the original Cascade principals, and current owners of Westeck Windows, repurchased all of the assets including the manufacturing facilities.
