Atlantic Canada's leading paper recycling facility, Scotia Recycling Limited, was established in 1976. To meet the growing demands for OCC and ONP from affiliated companies Minas Basin Pulp and Power and CKF Inc., Scotia Recycling constructed a new 30,000 square foot modern processing facility in 2000 in Dartmouth's Burnside Industrial Park. Additional processing facilities were also commissioned in Truro, N.S., Kentville, N.S., Yarmouth, N.S., Sydney, N.S., Moncton, N.B. and throughout NL.
