We are ready to improve the Lord's property at Holy Trinity Cathedral- at our AGM this year we had approved a Capital expenditure project: the repaving of our parking lot, something that regular users of the parking lot all can agree. We need to do this so that we can provide a safer environment for all that visit here. We need to raise approximately $100,000 for this project.
House of the Risen Son Ministry started as more of a para church style ministry in 1993. It was started to disciple the community that was being reached by Bondslave Motorcycle Club, ( www.bondslavemc.com )Over the years it has grown and operated in different methods to accomplish this. Many of those who attend are bikers or at least of that culture but we continue to attract many who are not. Many are those who seek Jesus in a manner that is relevant to where they are at and do not want to feel that they are imposed upon. They want Jesus who is 'real' from people who are 'real'.The worship services to accommodate this biker type sub culture are held every Sunday at 7 pm in Zion Apostolic Church located at 305 Machray Ave. Winnipeg. Since 1999 Zion has rented space to us for many of the things we do.Every Sunday we have visitors. Every Sunday through the riding season the parking lot looks like a bike show. And every Sunday, you are welcome to join us. But be prepared to not find church as you expected it.
Chesed Shel Emes was established in 1930 as a non-profit organization with a mandate to prepare members of the Jewish community for burial according to Orthodox tradition. Each person is treated with the same consideration and respect. No one is refused service due to financial hardship.Chesed Shel Emes is an independent, community based organization. Our Board of Directors is comprised of representatives from each of Winnipeg's synagogues and cemeteries, and interested members from the community at large.Men and women are carefully chosen and trained as volunteer members of the Chevra Kadisha (Holy Society). Their purpose is to dutifully and lovingly prepare the dead for burial, an act of true loving kindness.

We are a multicultural church, leading people into freedom and fullfillment, by empowering them to succeed in every sphere of life, and accomplishing God's heavenly purposes here on earth. Our Mandate * To reach and embrace people from every culture, race, economic and social background * Preach the full counsel and the uncompromised Word of God * Engage in passionate, vibrant worship * Develop and empower leaders * Excel in all forms of artistic expression * Be REAL and RELEVANT in an ever-changing world Our Church 'For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground.' Isaiah 44:3 God's desire is to throw open the Floodgates of heaven and release His fullness on the earth. Gates in the Bible were very significant. They were the centre for spiritual, commercial, social, and political life. It was the place where decisions and judgments were made, where destinies were shaped, and people's lives changed. Our prophetic mandate is to be a gateway that releases the flood of God's abundance on the earth.
