great service, been several times even on fridays when they are extremely busy with dining and take out we still get the great halibut which they are known for.
have been going since 1987 and still appreciate that they hand cut fillets of halibut daily. servers are friendly , not a large wine list but have by the glass at very reasonable prices. very happy with the family fish and chip business which started in toronto in the early 50s. note all salads homemade

We went to Caz's because we heard they were the best. I have to say we were not disapponited. The portions were hugh, service was as good as fine dining. The prices for what you received were cheap.I like the fact they give you a choice on the Halibut Alaskan Whale or Califonia Halibut. Truly amazing.

I had a hankering for a fish and chips lunch one weekday and decided to search my GPS's "points of interest" for something local. English Bay came up as the closest place and I sure am glad it did.
It's a small cozy feeling restaurant, probably about 12-16 seats, not too busy (11:30am). The service was attentive, and the Haddock fish and chips?... the best I've had to date. Oh yeah, the gravy was unique and also tasted great!
I thought the meal was a little pricey but being small and in a plaza, I know that rents can be pretty steep, I guess that kind of justifies it.
I will definitely visit again.

Love the fries, you can tell they are fresh cut.
