Our cafe is located in the heritage cottage next to Mouat's in the heart of Ganges village on beautiful Salt Spring Island. The building itself was built in the 1920s and has a long and diverse history which includes being the site of the first electrical generating station on the island and later as a home for one of the Mouat family's favorite aunts, Margaret. It's even been a smoke house, crystal shop and music school.

Auntie Pestos offers lunch and dinner, Monday through Saturday year round and Sunday evenings during the summer months. Chef Shawn Walton prepares a fresh, from scratch menu using quality. The cafe is a warm and friendly space filled with local art, fresh flowers and the sumptuous smells of home cooking.
