Born in Pincher Creek and raised in Tiger Lily, Alberta, Martin attended the University of Alberta for both his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Law Degrees. He was admitted to the bar in 1983, practicing for four years in Edmonton prior to moving to Barrhead, Alberta, where he has practised to this day.
Martin has been involved in numerous community activities, ranging from his association with the Kinsmen Club of Edmonton and Barrhead, serving on the Board of the Children World Daycare, coaching minor league baseball, serving on the Barrhead Economic Development Board and serving as Secretary on the Board of the Barrhead Golf Club. In recognition of his service to the community and legal profession, Martin was appointed Queens Counsel in the year 2000.
His areas of expertise include Real Estate, Small Business Corporate, Estate Planning and Administration, Commercial and Agricultural Law. He is focused on providing effective and timely legal services to his clients.
Raised in Dunstable, Alberta, Brant attended the University of Alberta for both his Bachelor of Arts and Law Degrees. Brant articled at Driessen Law Office and is now a partner. He was the first person ever to be admitted to the bar in the Barrhead Provincial Court House.
Brant is active in the community. He participates in multiple youth groups, teaches jujitsu and has organized a number of youth trips. Brant is also involved in the Barrhead Chamber of Commerce and the Knights of Columbus.
