This Service works closely with the local municipalities, school boards, community organizations, neighbourhood representatives and neighbouring municipalities to develop and implement appropriate community-based crime prevention initiatives. Members of our Community Services Unit work with community groups to provide a range of safety programs geared to adults and children.

All funds raised are used directly in your community to continue to provide education and awareness around the dangers and consequences of impaired driving. MADD Durham is active in and provides support to ... Youth educational programs in the Durham Region school boards. The Prom Program Durham Regional Police and the R.I.D.E. Program Educational materials Most importantly we provide assistance to victims of impaired driving.
