Now that we have that out of the way, let me introduce myself. My name is Brent Guild, and I have worked in the computer industry all my life. While I do like to get paid for a job well done, I am not doing this for the money.
It is a pet peeve of mine that the larger Data Recovery companies continue to over charge for the simpler recovery types that don't require a clean room or a bunch of expensive equipment. The overhead for these items is passed along to the little guy, costing anywhere from $500 to $2500.
I do not promise to be able to get everyone's data, sometimes that more expensive equipment is necessary, BUT I won't charge you a dime unless I do get your data. If I can't get your data, no harm, no foul, send it to one of the labs. I'll even help you do it.
