Five fully equipped studio rooms with rosco and maple sprung floors, full mirrors, ballet barres and professional sound systems, Hoofers Performing Arts in Oshawa is the place to be for professional dancers. A pianist is on staff for all grade levels of ballet, particularly for younger Creative Movement students to help encourage a knowledge of rhythm and musicality. Viewing windows and plenty of waiting area space is available for parents and siblings, along with a new students change room and private fitting room for competitive and recital costuming. A snack bar and homework room is available to students who spend extra time at the studio training. We also offer exam opportunities with the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.), Ballet Syllabus and Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers (A.D.A.P.T). Samantha Brooks - B.F.A. owner/Artistic Director is a professional teacher with an extensive dance background. She has been teaching dance in the GTA for 10 years. Sam is thrilled to be opening her own studio to share her passion and knowledge of dance with her students. She was teaching in York Region and has won numerous awards for her choreography and costumes at various competitions.
Our studio is a bright, newly renovated 1300 square foot space with an inviting parent lounge/viewing area.
There are two large wheelchair accessible men’s and women’s washrooms located directly outside of the entrance to the studio. As well as a single washroom located within the studio for the students.
There is free wifi, and ample parking available.

Ajax Dance Company, formerly Twinkletoes Studio of Dance has been developing Dancers in Ajax for the past 12 years. We are proudly certified in A.D.A.P.T., R.A.D. and Acrobatic Arts. Our Studio is equipped with professional grade Stage Step sprung dance floors, allowing dancers to dance longer without fatigue and preventing injuries on joints and backs due to a cushioned landing. Our current location offers four bright, spacious, and climate controlled studios that operate six days a week. Our instructors are fully qualified members of the BATD (British Association of Teachers of Dancing). They are professionals who continually educate themselves with new, innovative styles and techniques.We offer unsurpassed instruction in ballet, pointe, acro, jazz, tap, highland, musical theatre, hip hop, and lyrical, focusing on technique and musicality. Classes are organized according to age and experience on both recreational and competitive levels. Our Twinkle Toes dancers start as young as three years old while there seems to be no limit to the ages of our adult dancers.JSOD's success is due to the fact that we treat each and every one of our dancers and their families equally and enthusiastically.
