In 1996, Scoil Rince O'Ceallaigh and Scoil Rince Ni Fhearraigh joined forces to introduce The Irish Dance Studio to the York Region area. The directors, Yvonne Kelly and Joanne Vanderloo, have been involved in Irish dance since their early years of competing and then teaching in their own studios. Combined, they have been teaching Irish dancing for more than 50 years and have produced champions in Canada and the Mid-West United States, as well as North American, All Ireland and World Champion Medal Holders.
We offer classes for all ages, fitness levels, and body types. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced, we provide challenging and entertaining workouts in our beautiful studio space. Jaymor School of Dancing in Aurora since 1969 continues its history of excellent dance quality through generations of its graduates. Jaymor boasts a large stand-alone facility with four studios, a lunchroom & comfortable waiting area for parents & siblings. Under the direction of owner Nancy Dinner & her team of professionally qualified teachers, the studio is known for its high level of technique & unique choreography in all disciplines - tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, musical theater, hip hop & outstanding acrobatic work. Jaymor classes cater to the youngest (age 3) with ECE teachers & has also added adult/seniors (tap) classes to the roster. Jaymor has a traveling competitive team, the Aurora Aerials whereby many students have graduated to various professional levels of dance, teaching & choreography. Elite Dance Corps, located in Bradford, On has been proudly serving the Bradford, Bond Head, Innisfil, Alliston, Barrie and Newmarket area for over eight years. Elite Dance Corps has won numerous awards, and is recognized as one of the most active participants in various local community events as well as national and international dance competitions. Tania Azevedo's students have gone on to dance with Ballet Jorgen, Candadian Natinal Tap Team, become certified dance instructions, and attend dance programs at well know Ontario universities. Tania is constantly strengthening her skills by attending master classes with renowned dance artists and choreographers in all disciplines of dance. Today, she is a full member with P.A.E.C and both Jazz and Tap and has become certified with the International Academy of Dance Adjudicators. Elite Dance Corp is pleased to offer dance classes and instruction in the disciplines of Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Acrobatic Dance, and Hip Hop Lyrical Musical Theater. The dance studio also offers Kinderdance for children ages three and four, and we are pleased to offer adult classes in Belly Dancing, Yoga, Zumba and Cardio Funk. During 2009 Elite Dance Corp was proud to have two of its students selected for the Canadian National Tap Team which completed in Reisa, Germany against 34 other nations and brought home the Gold Medal for their outstanding performance!
