Our son Jason has said this many times over the past 10 years since his disease, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, started to progress. With this constant reminder from Jason to overcome the challenges he faces, the name of our company was an easy one -- we decided to focus on the 'Solve' in ReSolve. As Jason's strength started to decline, our family started to make modifications to his clothing in order to help him preserve his independence. Jason appreciated continuing to wear regular, mainstream clothing without anyone ever knowing that modifications had been made.Unfortunately, for people who lack flexibility, muscular strength and/or dexterity, fitting into mainstream clothing can be an insurmountable task – even with assistance. Simple items like socks can cut off circulation in the feet, off-the-rack shirts take forever to put on, and jeans? Forget it.As a result, people with physical challenges are stuck wearing clothes that are too big, too drab, or too obviously unattractive and institutional so that their physical needs are accommodated without the ridiculously high cost associated with customized modification
