The Collingwood Psychotherapy and Yoga Centre (CPYC) offers psychotherapy, yoga and education to people who want to improve their mental, relational and physical health. CPYC aims to provide a friendly, accepting community where people can feel safe to learn and grow. Psychotherapy provided at CPYC is based on Relational, Psychodynamic, Trauma and Neurobiologically informed, Satir, Yoga and Emotionally Focused theories. We work with people who are motivated to work towards positive change in themselves and their relationships. Ashtanga Yoga classes at CPYC are in the Mysore style of learning. Mysore style Ashtanga yoga is a private class in a group setting; that is, people drop in during the set amount of time offered and finish their personal practice by the end of the time block. CPYC also offers Trauma Informed Yoga classes for people who are struggling with the symptoms of trauma. CPYC offers seminars on topics that interest organizations and community members.
With over 12 years experience as an Registered Massage Therapist, Stephanie has a full time practice situated in central Collingwood. Originally working out of the Georgian centre, she recently built a lovely and professional office at her house, with seperate entrance, lots of parking, quiet atmosphere, and beautiful decor. Stephanie is continually learning new techniques and expanding her knowledge so she can provide better care and science-based knowledge to her clients. She adapts treatments to the specific needs of her clients, whether they simply want to relax & loosen tight muscles, or are seeking treatment of sports or work related injury. SOOOOO relaxing! great massage and really nice atmosphere. I was hesitant with a home-based office but her office is around back with a separate entrance so its very professional and quiet, you wouldnt even know it is an home business. Read more
