Part of the mandate of Canadian Residential Inspection Services, Ltd. is to ensure that you receive an objective, professional home inspection that is free from conflicts of interest. That means that we are working for YOU - not for your real estate agent. We are not contractors and we do not benefit from the sale or repair of the home. We will not be recommending companies involved in the construction or renovation business. Your home inspection will be unbiased and objective. Each franchise is independently owned and operated.
My home inspector Ian took the time to ensure that I understood the inspection report. He answered my questions thoroughly, even to the point of showing me where the problems were and suggestions of what to do. This was a new and extremely positive process for me. I came out of this experience feeling that I understood what the property needed and suggestions with how to proceed. Thank you Ian!Read more
Although there are other inspectors out there, none provide inspections at my level in: Experience, Education, Reputation, and I carry 1.5 million in insurance ( E&O, G.C.L.). I inspect the structure ( framing: crawlspaces, basements, and attics ) for its soundness. I also inspection the: Heating, plumbing, insulation, and electrical system. I comment on what components they are comprised and I include repair details and upgrade information. The follow up report is averaging 15-20 pages in length and answers all of your home owners insurance companies questions as well as providing you with a time line of when thing will need to be done in the future ( such as: caulking, re-roofing, window and door replacement, ect. ). The fee for a visual inspection of a single family dwelling unit is $349.75, taxes in everything included ( if it has additional apartments it’s an additional $50.00 per unit ). If you have any specific questions please don't hesitate to ask. Craig MacLeod, 902-578-6886
