Tracey studied drawing and painting at The Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for four years. He also split his studies at OCAD exploring printmaking and other various artistic disciplines like wood and metal design. In addition, Mr. Anthony studied animation at Sheridan College in Oakville for a semester. Although the program at Sheridan was excellent the environs of OCAD drew the artist back to Toronto to finish his schooling. Tracey has original works in the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto, Ontario, The Collection of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, Ottawa, Ontario, and The Woodland Cultural Centre, Brantford, Ontario. Tracey's mother is Mississauga (Ojibway) from the New Credit of the Mississaugas First Nations reserve and his father was Delaware (Lenni Lenape) from the Six Nations reserve in Ontario, Canada. In his artwork, Tracey incorporates Ojibway, Delaware, and Iroquoian influences in conjunction with many mixed media.

RE-create Outreach Art Studio is a free open arts studio in downtown Hamilton ON where street-involved youth can drop in and connect with themselves, others, and their community through the creative arts. From painting to poetry, performanc...e art, photography and other multimedia projects, RE-create offers an opportunity for street-involved youth to try a variety of art forms under the guidance of local established artists and members of the wider arts community.
RE-create programming happens in the Art Forms Youth Art Studio space, which is located at 126 James Street North, the doorway between I Fiori and Hawk and Sparrow.
Hamilton Artists Inc (The Inc) is committed to the presentation of contemporary art and related cultural practices. The Inc facilitates a national dialogue surrounding issues in contemporary art through exhibitions, publications, performances, education and outreach projects.
contemporary is located in the heart of the James St North Arts District. The street is an eclectic mix of businesses with an international flavour. Markets cafes restaurants and retail businesses create a vibrant street life.
Earls Court was established in 1973 by Bob Daniels and Doug Nixon as a print and framing gallery at 78 George Street in Hamilton's Hess Village. In 1977 the second floor gallery was opened featuring some print makers from Open Studio in Toronto (Ann Meredith Barry, Jo Manning, Moira Clarke) and other local artists. In 1980 we moved to 105 George Street where we continued with print makers (David Blackwood for several years) and expanded into more local artists and different mediums. We continued at this location for the next 29 years until September 2009 when we moved into the current and much larger location at 215 Ottawa Street North in Hamilton. This newest location has a 1600 sq. ft. gallery and a 1000 sq. ft. framing facility. We will continue to have exhibitions of local artists and some historical works.
