Campkin’s RV opened in 1973, originally called “Cedarwood Trailers” the name was changed to “Campkin’s Camping Centre” in 1977 and then to “Campkin’s RV Centre” in 1991. In 2013, Roland Goreski has gone from GM to Owner and has taken over the reins of the day to day operation. Roland has over 30 years in the RV Industry, 17+ at Campkin’s.
Campkin’s RV has a long history in Southern Ontario as an RV Dealer who “looks after the customer”. Sounds corny but unfortunately only because too many people say they have good service and don’t. At Campkin’s we don’t say we have good service, but our customers do! Check out our testimonial page!

In 1973, the Province of Ontario passed the Regional Municipality of Durham Act to establish Durham as one of five Regional governments in the Greater Toronto Area. The Act annexed and amalgamated 21 former municipalities of the counties of Ontario, Northumberland and Durham to form eight area municipalities: Ajax, Brock, Clarington, Oshawa, Pickering, Scugog, Uxbridge and Whitby. Members of the first Regional Council were elected late in 1973 and the Regional Municipality of Durham began operating on January 1, 1974.
