The Normans Covelong Cove Volunteer Fire Department Was Established Way Back In 1971. Since Then Our Department Has Grown To Become One Of The Most Successful And Well Managed In The Region 2 District. Over The Last 2 Years Alone We Have Sought Out And Acquired A New Water Tender, Have Been Awarded A Brand New 2012 Walkin Rescue Unit, And Have Been Steadily Improving Every Aspect Of What We Do For The Public.

During this time, the department continued to provide the same quality fire protection that it has provided for so many years. Through the hard work and dedication of its members, the department completed many projects during 2013. Most of these projects were geared toward maintaining or improving the services we provide to the community as well as providing for the overall safety of the firemen who provide those services.
