I bought rebuilt a car for my wife from Kareem (as is condition) and drove it home. It would not start the next day. Called Kareem and he came over with his son to try to fix. He could not get it going so was going to tow to his shop and fix at this own expense. Then I took the keys out of the ignition and he noticed it was not the original (got new one cut). He asked for the old key and the car started. He laughed and left. Honorable man. Deal with him as he stands behind his sales.

GRASSROOTS NEWSWe publish 20,000 copies of our paper each issue with distribution throughout the Province of Manitoba including major urban centres such as Winnipeg, Brandon, Portage la Prairie, Thompson and The Pas.Readership values are estimated at approx 80,000 per issue with key demographic representing First Nation and Metis organizations, business offices and grassroots readership (individuals) in urban and rural areas of the province. All Manitoba First Nation communities along Metis regional offices receive copies of our paper. We are well read and respected among Manitoba's Aboriginal population and have regular columns written by Grand Chief Ron Evans (AMC - Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs), David Chartrand (MMF President - Manitoba Metis Federation), Grand Chief Morris Shannacappo (SCO -Southern Chiefs Organization) among other Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal political figures.
I was educated at the University of Manitoba and spent eleven years earning three degrees. I learned a lot about human behavior, but over the years my clients have taught me a whole lot more. Being a spouse or partner and a mom has also been extremely educational and I feel blessed to continue learning and growing. For well over twenty years I have been a practicing Professional Counsellor or Therapist and I believe a few core things to be true. First, we all make mistakes some of which bring along many years of fall-out or implication. Second, we all need a sense of belonging, meaning and purpose. Third, happiness is a journey, not a goal or a destination. And forth, no one is more important than you are, although other people are also important (just not more important than you are). Aboriginal people in Winnipeg have a future of increased economic prosperity and self-determination.
