Muslim Food Bank and Community Services Society ("MFBCS") is a community based charitable organization that assists people facing hunger and food insecurity and advocates self-reliance by providing case management, counselling, emotional support, youth development, senior care and capacity building.
Muslim Food Bank and Community Services Society (MFBCS) recognizes the challenges that people face in supporting themselves and helps them overcome these challenges by focusing on seven core areas: Food Insecurity, Employment, Housing, Education, Skills Development, Physical and Mental Health Support. Since 2010, we have transformed lives and empowered people to become self-reliant, and who in turn have joined us to help others. Our vision is to live in a world where humanity is driven by compassion and love, when people help each other to become self-reliant so that they can in turn help others in their challenges.

Richmond Family Place has a solid, diverse funding base. A United Way agency, Richmond Family Place receives funding from the Ministry for Children and Families, the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, The City of Richmond, and BC Gaming Commission. Additionally, Richmond Family Place relies on self-generated revenue, donations, and grants from a variety of partners and contributors.
