Since 1954, families of Cedar and the surrounding area have come to know Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens for its beautiful park-like setting and solid reputation for caring and professional guidance. Our 76 acres is home to local wildlife, a duck pond and spectacular fir and cedar trees that tower upwards of 150 feet. These majestic conifers are between three and five hundred years old. Amidst the tranquil setting you will find a magnificent one- hundred-foot circular garden of red roses that Encompass the Arbutus Columbarium. The serenity of Cedar Valley can be enjoyed throughout the year, providing a peaceful atmosphere for loved ones to gather and reminisce. Our state-of-the-art audiovisual system ensures that guests can hear speeches and take comfort in photos. Sands Duncan offers visitation rooms and a reception space that can also be used for memorials or Celebrations of Life. Large sliding doors open to a tranquil outdoor patio surrounded by trees. In-house catering is available for receptions. At Sands Duncan, we specialize in full arrangement services, and as part of the Arbor Memorial family we have a long-standing tradition of exceptional service. The building is wheelchair accessible with parking on-site. Our caring staff are active in the community, and we raise money for local charities every year.
