A family owned and operated funeral home since 1958. The Fawcett family holds strong to our roots of serving the community and surrounding areas with the greatest respect and efficiency. We provide service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our aim is to ensure all persons are well informed about the various options available to them and to assist in completing the necessary duties associated with their choices. We offer a complete line of products and services for elaborate funerals or options for the simplest of arrangements. We provide funeral programs in all budgets and promise to serve all people with reasonable service requests. The same commitment is pledged to clients who wish to preplan their funeral arrangements.
The Egan name has been synonymous with professional funeral service for over 9 decades and 4 generations. The present building was converted to a funeral home in 1937 by the Turner family. In 1966 the business was sold to Peter Baxter and Fred Giles. Upon their retirement, after 30 years of faithfully serving this community, they wanted to keep the business family owned and operated. Paul Egan was a logical successor given his reputation in the Bolton area. Pauls sister, Deborah, and her husband, Hal, live above the funeral home and work in the family business. In 2006 Paul welcomed Stephen Elliott to manage the funeral home, bringing with him over 25 years of professional funeral experience. We are involved in the community through our volunteering and involvement in our local churches.
Today, Orangeville families select Dods & McNair Funeral Home for chapel, church, burial and cremation services. At Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, we recognize that funeral service is a calling with great responsibilities, demanding the highest professional standards, with all whom we are called to serve. This trust and confidence makes us both proud and humble. Be certain that in your time of deepest need you can rely on our continued dedication to tradition, respect and understanding.
