Brad Gates developed his passion for wildlife in the ravines of the Toronto Bluffs. Brad had the opportunity to raise a variety of urban species such as birds, rabbits, turtles, snakes, squirrels and a raccoon named Mandy. Mandy, in particular, influenced the path Brad would choose in the years to follow.Brad earned his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in biology from the University of Guelph. Equipped with a solid background in wildlife biology and behaviour, Brad founded AAA Wildlife Control (now called AAA Gates' Wildlife Control) in 1984. From the beginning his company was guided by the firm principle that animals deserve to be treated with compassion and that society can learn to live in harmony with wildlife.
