I am a certified Canadian counsellor and utilize a holistic approach to counseling through a specific type of therapy called EMDR. I have successfully used EMDR therapy with clients dealing with emotional disturbances caused by challenging past traumas including childhood abuse, sexual violtations, grief, losses and death, and negative core beliefs. Symptoms may show up as anxiety, depression, anger, sleep disturbances, and low self-esteem. If you are suffering from any of these symptoms or issues, processing the trauma memories through EMDR can often successfully remove these symptoms. I provide a caring and compassionate approach and look at healing the body/mind/spirit rather than just looking at the symptoms themselves.
