Shelburne Golf and Country Club is a picturesque 18-hole golf course located on the western edge of the Niagara Escarpment. The professionally-designed course plays over easily walked terrain with silica sand bunkers and six spring -fed ponds providing a challenge to all levels of golfers. In the last few years 9 new tee decks, adding 230 yards to the course, were brought into play adding to the challenge for the lower handicap, long-hitting player. Playing enhancements were completed on four holes in 2007, to speed up play and provide greater visual definition to the bunkers, water hazards and fairways, along with the addition of 400 trees. Also, the automatic irrigation system was expanded to improve the overall condition and playability of the course.

A fairly level mature course offers an easy walk for the young and the young at heart. Generous well maintained fairways and excellent assortment of holes adds to the playability and challenges of the golf course. Grass bunkers surround the large deceptive greens that will prove a daunting test of the golfer's skills.
Number eight, the signature hole challenges the "long drivers" with a large spring-fed pond strategically placed along the two sides of the green with trees to the left and behind. Although only 384 yards, the sixth hole can play as a par 4 or par 5 depending on the wind. The "winds of Amaranth" can add a new dimension to each round of golf at Meadow Land Golf Club.
Lora Bay has been sculpted by renowned Canadian architect, Thomas McBroom and PGA Tour Star, Tom Lehman. Lora Bay shows the signatures of what golfers have come to expect from McBroom, with devilishly designed bunkers and slippery sloped greens. While Tom Lehman has brought his experiences from around the world to Lora Bay, even using inspirations from Riviera Country Club in California in the design process of the Par 5, 16th hole.
