Sims Custom Woodworking Inc. has been operating for 50 plus years. The company was founded in the early 1950's by Henry Sims. He started the business in a small 1200 sq. ft. shop at the bottom of Bainbridge Street. In 1967, Henry relocated to 1244 Great Northern Road where the company still operates. The company has seen a lot of changes throughout the years. Since the humble beginnings in the early 1950's in a 1200 sq. ft. shop, to 1967 in a 2100 sq. ft. shop, to 1977 expanding to 6000 sq. ft. with more plans to expand currently. In 1985, Henry sold the business to his son Barry who continues to own and operate the company.
Granite by Design features imported granite slabs for you to choose from - come an choose your own colour and design and we will custom cut and design it for your home. We do anything from countertops to table tops, mantels, sinks and backsplashes.
