Sims Custom Woodworking Inc. has been operating for 50 plus years. The company was founded in the early 1950's by Henry Sims. He started the business in a small 1200 sq. ft. shop at the bottom of Bainbridge Street. In 1967, Henry relocated to 1244 Great Northern Road where the company still operates. The company has seen a lot of changes throughout the years. Since the humble beginnings in the early 1950's in a 1200 sq. ft. shop, to 1967 in a 2100 sq. ft. shop, to 1977 expanding to 6000 sq. ft. with more plans to expand currently. In 1985, Henry sold the business to his son Barry who continues to own and operate the company.

For more than 20 years we have been supplying Granite counter tops to Northern and Southern Ontario, and Northern Michigan. With our digital templating process and the use of water jets and CNC machines we can offer the very best of quality and design at extremely competitive rates. We service both Commercial and Residential customers. We fabricate granite, quartz, and marble counter & vanity tops on site. With over 90 colours and more than 500 slabs in stock we can supply and install counter tops within three weeks.
