Groom Insurance was first formed in 1961 as a one person operation by Gary Groom and this continued until April of 1969 when H.A. Lawrence Ins. Ltd. Business in St. George was purchased and a short time later the name of the business was changed to Groom Insurance Ltd. In 1980 a second office was opened in St. Andrews and the two offices continue to provide Insurance services to the people of Charlotte County and beyond. Over the years, several local agencies were purchased and incorporated into Groom Insurance Ltd. We are proud to say that many clients have been with us since the beginning and we strive to provide professional service to our many clients whether it be in the personal lines area or Commercial Insurance.
