From a very early age Lisa Sandham had a love for art, writing and the creative process but it wasn't until she entered into a three year accredited Interior Design program at Confederation College that she realized her passion lay in design. She graduated top of her class and was honored with the President’s Medal in 1991 and has spent over 19 years working within the architectural field in Thunder Bay collaborating with local architects, drafting firms, manufacturers, contractors and craftsmen. Working within varied design disciplines has given her the advantage of understanding not only the aesthetic requirements of design but also the technical and construction concepts behind her designs.

After my successful career designing stores for some of Toronto's most prominent retail corporations including such names as Holt Renfrew & Linda Lundström. I made the decision to focus my talents and efforts in a new direction – designing custom kitchens.As a working Mom who loves to cook I feel so strongly that you just can't compromise function for design. These days kitchens are the hub of activity much of the day – they are not just for cooking! Kitchens now also function as home offices and homework areas, as well as providing valuable living space for hobbies and family time. It really amazes me just how much we do in our kitchens!
