The kennel itself is located in a very safe, offset tree'd in area on the outskirts of Edmonton. My dog comes home to me exercised, properly fed and smiling. Well worth the drive even if you and your pet are not close by.

We were so impressed with Better Than Home ...it's just about Better Than Home! We love that our two large breed ladies have so much space for excercise and socializing. Gord the owner clearly loves dogs (he has 5 of his own!) and knows how to handle them as alpha. The facilities are new and very clean - the owner's vision is apparent at this perfect locale. My dogs are allowed on my couch and I REALLY loved to see the TV room at Better Than Home where they can cuddle on the couch with Gord or stretch out at his feet and chew a bone. My two dogs have enjoyed excellent care at Perfect Place kennels for over 10 years. And the exceptional nature of client service by Steve and Val and their staff was exceeded when I broke my ankle and was unable to care for the dogs.
During my two-month recovery Steve and Val brought the dogs to visit and arranged that they be groomed. The dogs came home they were happy and healthy. They knew the kennel and enjoyed time there in the past so it wasn’t at all a problem for them.

They receive more private one on one time for no additional cost. We do everything possible to make their stay with us a very enjoyable one. We can also send pictures to you of your pets while you are away via email and allow families to stay in contact with us throughout their time away should they want to. All pets staying with us must have when checking in, their current veterinary record to ensure all shots are up to date and we need to record your vet's information on your pets file in case of an emergency.
