For over 13 years, Animal House Dog & Cat Boarding has served as Medicine Hat’s trusted social kennel. When you have to go somewhere, but your best friend can’t, leave them with us!
Absolutely adore this place, my girl always has a great time! Love the staff, very friendly and loving towards the animals. Amazing amount of space to play and make friends. Defiantly would not take her any other place! Read more
Cocomutt hut is a Tiki themed facility that was designed for you and your animals comfort. We have a great atmosphere. We want your animals to feel like they’re on a holiday; they’ll be pampered as if they were. We will be taking every precaution to be sure our facility is safe. We will not take aggressive animals that do not get along with others. Our absolute main goal is that your animal is safe with us. We’d rather have less well behaved animals than jam packing the place with less friendly ones. There are lots of dogs to go around in Medicine Hat . . . we’ll just take the nice ones thanks!
I am absolutely blown away by this kennel I have found, it is a doggie day care, an off leash dog park and a kennel all in one. First let me say I am thoroughly impressed with the owner and kennel operator who is a national award winning dog trainer and it shows when she handles the dogs! That right there is enough incentive to check out this kennel. But the owner goes above and beyond what I would ever expect out of a kennel.
First they offer FREE pick up and drop off from your house, your dog will never sit in a kennel all day as they get anywhere from 8-12 hours of walks, swimming and playing as well as a bath before they get dropped off back at your house, all at no extra charge. I have sent my 2 dogs to other kennels and pay so much money for what Paradise offers for free or they are kept in a kennel all day and they are either sick from stress of not being able to run and play and they are crazy insane dogs with all this pent up energy as they have been neglected. This other kennel has over 300 dogs (paradise only takes 30!)and when I called to check up on my dogs nobody had any idea who my dogs were or how they were doing. Paradise knows all her dogs, who they are, their breeds, ages, energy level, temperment ect… She knew my dogs better then I did only after one stay and we have been there plenty of other times since then. This kennel is a gem among cement pad, chain link, nightmares of other kennels out there and I would never send my dogs to any other kennel as this is truly Paradise.
