Luv’n Care Boarding Home was born out of true love for family pets and first opened its doors in 1988, 35 years ago. Martin Bigg, owner and operator of Luv'n Care Boarding Home, is a well-respected member of the canine community in Whitehorse. Prior to Luv'n Care Boarding Home, Martin operated a dog obedience school in Yellowknife, NWT, for 8 years. Years ago, Martin was also actively involved in the dog sledding communities of both Yellowknife and Whitehorse. He trained his own dog sled teams and was a handler for mushers in the Yukon Quest 1000 mile sled dog race. Currently, Martin and his wife Libby enjoy the excitement and laughter of their three Border Collies and a witty-tempered Maltese. The love for dogs is the foundation of the Luv’n Care facility and is evident by the many repeat customers we have had since 1988.

Serving Whitehorse for over 30 years, Amuyok Kennels offer boarding for cats and dogs. Open year-round, we feature heated kennels with individual indoor and outdoor runs.
