We have left our very large dog for weekends, full weeks and recently for 4 weeks in one stay. Our dog loves it there. The people are very friendly to you and your animal. They are loved and cared for by people who love animals The kennells are very clean and the dogs do get to be active daily. Croft Kennels allows us to go on vacation, knowing that our pet will be treated with love and kindness.Your cats will love it too.

We opened our boarding kennel in April 2005, after Ken and I had both retired from the Ontario Provincial Police.We have always been animal lovers (me especially). I have always been an advocate of animal rescue, and have opened my home to numerous abandoned, abused and neglected animals over the years. I am certified in Animal First Aid by Fanshawe College.I have many years experience in dealing with animal behaviours such as fear, separation anxiety, aggression and eating disorders, to name a few. It takes a lot of love and patience to deal with scared and abused animals - but I have found that given enough of both they will reward you with unconditional love and joy.At the present time we are the proud parents of 2 dogs, and 3 cats - all rescues. Our love of animals is what prompted us to think about working with them after our retirement.

Our kennel was established in 1978 as a family operation. I have always enjoyed caring for dogs and wanted to stay home as my children were growing. My husband and children have been involved with me through this work throughout the years. We have raised Registered Collies and Shetland Sheepdogs plus boarding dogs for other clients. Eventually my job lead me to including a Dog Grooming service.
Over the years we have had the pleasure to meet many great dogs with their owners. Our goal is to care for and send every dog home happy and healthy.
