(Adopted at the 1996 Child Care Resource and Referral Program Symposium) In the province of BC, 40 CCRR programs are funded by the Government of BC, Ministry for Children and Family Development. CCRR programs are managed and maintained through non-profit organization throughout BC.

Over 17 children participated in the bike camp over the week, and had an opportunity to learn new bike skills, bike safety and healthy eating. Participants were from Moricetown, New Hazleton, South Hazelton and Hagwilget and received a brand new bike helmet. They also had access to use one of the new seven bikes purchased by the BV CDC with support from sponsors. The BV CDC looks forward to putting on this event next year as well.
