The Village of Dorchester's water system is working very well. Due to some recent concern about possible bad tests, the Village retested several locations and all the results came back fine. Please be assured that we are testing regularly and have the public's health and safety at the forefront. We welcome all visitors, past residents; and of course, the semi-palmated sandpipers.

The Town of Riverview was formed on July 9, 1973 with the amalgamation of the three villages of Bridgedale, Gunningsville and Riverview Heights. Harold Findlay became the first Mayor and seven Councillors were elected at-large to serve the public.
