The McBride and District Public Library has been proudly serving the McBride, BC community for over 50 years, starting from a small association of 60 members with no building, to what it is today.

The Valemount Public Library was started in the 1950s. Since that time we have occupied five different locations. First was a private home, then four other buildings, each one increasing in size to accommodate our growing collection.
