MARC is an adult literacy program affiliated with Laubach.We are currently in our 27th year of service to our community,which includes Midland,Penetanguishene,and the surrounding areas of North Simcoe County.We offer free,confidential tutoring to adults who want to improve their reading,writing,math or computer skills.We believe that literacy is a basic human right and that each citizen should be able to function fully and comfortably in their community.We believe in people helping themselves and each other.We also teach employment skills.

East York Learning Experience is a non-profit adult literacy program serving East York, parts of east Toronto, and west Scarborough. EYLE has spent 26 years building our organization with the objective of reducing the social and economic barriers of adult literacy students. Our students are highly motivated and demonstrate a real commitment to their learning. EYLE recruits and trains community volunteers who work on a one-to-one basis with adult students to develop their reading, writing, math, and basic computer skills.
