Overlooking Kootenay Lake, our charming Heritage Building was built in 1926 and has been transformed over the decades into four beautiful, artistically designed, self-contained suites that can accommodate a single person or a large group of up to twelve people. Another option: our Morning Star Cabin, tucked away in the forest on the perimeter of Nelson, for anyone looking for a truly unique and different experience. Our Cabin can accommodate up to four people and is a five minute drive from downtown Nelson!

We are a non-profit housing co-operative, and collectively, the members pay the mortgage of the Co-operative. Phase I is granted funds from the Federal Housing Ministry under the direction of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). Phase II is granted funds from the Provincial Housing Ministry under the direction of the British Columbia Housing and Management Commission (BCHMC). Therefore we are regulated by these government bodies to some degree.
