This is a very different Marina! Long Island Marine has received the highest award in Canada for environmental practices, and the top Ontario award under the Boating Ontario Clean Marine program. Add to this list several beautification awards. Environmental awareness underlies everything we do! We expect our boaters to follow our example. In return our boaters enjoy personal quality service from the owner, and mature employees who have worked here for between seven and fifteen years. They know what they're doing! The shaded waterfront areas have picnic tables for all docks, a communal barbeque and encouragement to set up your own barbeque, umbrellas etc. adjacent to your dock. The 'heads' and two-person shower will entertain and amuse you. In season the snack bar works on an honour system, offering full, microwavable meals with all the fixing's, ice cream, pop, chips etc. The coffee is always on.
